Lara, you’ve been working at ShopWeDo for almost two years, doing both inbound and outbound tasks.
How do you like the experience? It is an exciting and varied job.
I enjoy both inbound and outbound tasks.
The diversity makes the work exciting.
Together with colleagues, I unpack everything and organize what we receive from customers in the warehouse.
I also check returned items to see if they can be resold.
Then I put them in boxes and send them to customers. How did you end up at ShopWeDo? I found my way here through an interim office.
The opportunity to work at ShopWeDo was exactly what I was looking for.
After 6 months I was offered my permanent contract and this was exactly what I wanted.
I celebrated this with friends and family.
Are there certain moments during the workday that you particularly enjoy? When I am at the returns department and I can process a full cart, it gives me great satisfaction.
In addition, I also benefit greatly from my colleagues.
They really make the work environment like a second home. Tell us about a memorable moment during your time at ShopWeDo. Ah, last year’s team-building event!
The party after the Hercules Trophy was great and created unforgettable memories with the team. Do you buy a lot online yourself? Actually I do (laughs).
I buy everything online, from groceries to clothes.
I am the perfect example of an e-commerce enthusiast.
I only go to a physical store if I need something last minute. We heard about your superstitions regarding soccer.
Can you share that with us? Haha, that’s a funny one!
Once I wore tape on my wrists for fun and played a great match.
The match after that I didn’t do this again and played a bad match.
Since then you can find me on the field with tape around my wrists as a striker or to give assists.
