At ShopWeDo, we like to emphasize the importance of sustainable business practices.
\nWith this charter<\/strong>, therefore, we hope to inspire other businesses to choose business practices that are sustainable over the long term. <\/span>Meanwhile, you could already read how we try to reduce our ecological footprint<\/a> and how we try to keep e-commerce in Belgium<\/a>.
\nCorporate social responsibility makes us look for a balanced mix of people, planet and profit<\/strong>. <\/span>The last part, but certainly not the least important, is about the social and human aspect<\/strong> of business.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our employees as a driving force \"\"<\/b><\/h4>\n

The engine of our e-fulfilment business, that is our people<\/strong>.
\nEmployees determine the success of an organization.
\nAt ShopWeDo, we form a close-knit team, with a strong emphasis on the well-being<\/strong> of our employees.
\nFor example, we already take commuting distance<\/strong> into account in job applications.
\nThe reason is simple: more comfort for our employees.
\nThey spend less time in traffic, leaving more time in the evenings for family and relaxation. <\/span>Employing local people also has an ecological advantage at the same time.
\nThe distances with non-environmentally friendly means of transport remain relatively limited this way.
\nWe have also been working closely with the VDAB for years on recruitment. <\/span>Together with them, we guide people into the labor market.<\/span><\/p>\n

A pleasant working environment<\/strong> largely determines how people feel in their jobs.
\nTherefore, we try to make the workplace as pleasant as possible for everyone. <\/span>Our spacious office offers lots of relaxing options<\/strong>: from nice seating areas to a kicker table, for well-deserved breaks. <\/span>Needless to say, everyone’s safety<\/strong> is the focus in the warehouse.
\nIn general, there is a friendly atmosphere without losing focus. <\/span>Organizing regular team building events allows everyone to get to know each other better -in an informal atmosphere. <\/span>Consequently, it is very nice to see that most employees have been joining our ShopWeDo team for several years.
\nThe low turnover allows us to build lasting relationships<\/strong> with a strong team<\/strong> of motivated individuals. <\/span><\/p>\n

Helping others<\/b><\/h4>\n

ShopWeDo is and remains a Belgian<\/strong> and self-owned<\/strong> company. Our mission is to assist Belgian companies within e-commerce with our logistics expertise. Thus, we want to provide maximum support to the local economy by providing local employment and by collaborating with companies and suppliers from our country. <\/span>In addition, our company’s management sits on boards of directors to be able to address site-specific bottlenecks. <\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to e-fulfilment, we assist organizations in sending large volume shipments such as promotional materials and corporate gifts.
\nWe also find supporting social projects and charities<\/strong> indispensable.
\nFor example, in the past we have already acted as logistics partner of the Red Noses Day<\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n
